Hello! My name is Charlotte and I have been teaching for ten years, employed as a qualified secondary English teacher. My specialty is teaching English language and literature up to and including A-Level; however I have also worked abroad in two different countries teaching English as a foreign language. I am extremely approachable and make learning comfortable and engaging for my students which achieves excellent results. My programs of study are tailor made for each individual student and I will work with you to enable your child to reach their full potential. I am happy to work with individuals or small groups depending on your needs.

Availability: I am happy to work with you to find a day and a time that works for you however it is recommended to get booked in early for September before the slots get filled.

Experience: I have taught at a local Northamptonshire school for the past ten years as a secondary English teacher with responsibilities for raising reading achievement. This includes ages 11-18 but I have tutored primary English on a regular occasion and love to teach to all ages. I have a degree in English Language from the University of Aston and also a PGCE from the Grand un ion Training Partnership and take part in regular training to keep up to date. As part of my job I regularly create innovative and interesting schemes of work to engage and challenge my students as well as keeping their learning relevant and up to date.
