Qualified Secondary Maths Teacher with over 10 years teaching experience.

I believe that confident students are far more likely to achieve well in their exams so in my tutoring I aim to help students become more confident in their maths ability.
I plan every session with the individual student in mind and combine a review of topics covered previously with new topics. That way students do not forget what they have learnt already whilst continuing to add to their maths knowledge.

To help GCSE students make the best possible progress in the new 1-9 exams I have a large number of practice questions for them to work through, either during the tutoring sessions or at home between sessions. I also recommend online maths videos for students to watch at home to deepen their understanding of topics covered and make even more progress.

I have experience of tutoring primary and secondary students. My extensive knowledge of teaching secondary maths this means I can tailor sessions to challenge and engage primary and secondary students of all abilities.

Experience: I have over 10 years Secondary Maths teaching experience including teaching higher and foundation tier classes at GCSE. I have also taught A-level maths units C1, C2, S1 and S2.

In addition I have tutored KS2, KS3, KS4 and Adult learners.
