Information about Anne-francoise
Bonjour!
I am a French native speaker. Born in Normandy I grew up in Brittany. I arrived in England in 1987. I have 2 children I have been teaching for more than 16 years. I love the Devonian countryside and I am committed to help our community. I studied for a Master at the University of Exeter and I am a qualified Further Education Teacher. I am specialised in Dyslexia and Foreign Language teaching. Member of the The Tutors` Association I am also qualified in teaching the DELF and DALF Diplomas.
I thrive on helping others and sharing my knowledge and work to strengthen and enhance working relationships with people. I am passionate about education and professionalism. I believe my calmness, good sense of humour and empathy ethos helps to reduce barriers that people might encounter towards learning languages.
Availability: Just call phone arrange days and times.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I worked in an education role, which involved lecturing within further education, planning, advising and campaigning on paths for new courses for students or numerous years. I taught French to Primary school children in Torquay as well as GCSE, A Level and undergraduate levels. Working in this environment necessitats strong organisational and practical skills in planning workloads and using training needing analysis and evaluation frameworks. In my role I liaised with senior teaching staff, heads of departments and students, along with other stakeholders within the education establishment. I have been involved in promoting courses by approaching newspapers or education communities. During this time my own personal achievement was to receive an Award for Inspirational teaching in Adult Education, which highlights my passion for professionalism and quality of work.
