I am a qualified and registered teacher with 25 years of experience in teaching Mandarin Chinese, ESL, Study Skills and ToK(IB) in both Primary and secondary private independent schools. Delivering results is what I love about my work. I also believe having fun along the way is a must in this highly competitive world.


I live in Ealing. This is now where my home is. I have an ardent desire to serve the community using the skills I am most confident of.

Availability: I am available from 3pm-8pm during Monday to Friday and all day Saturday from 8am to 6pm.

Experience: I worked for Marlborough College for 4 years then went to Hong Kong to establish A level, IGCSE and recently IB curriculum for Chinese. It was with a Hong Kong `s leading Educational Institute, my teaching strategies, student centred approach and tailor made resources were established, tried and triumphed in both primary and secondary sectors. Among the students I have taught, no one ever failed an exam, on the contrary, at least half are perfect graders in IGCSE/GCSE, A Level and recently IB Chinese programmes.

Having completed my career as head of primary and secondary Chinese departments as well as Chinese Secondee in advisory capacity, I am now on sabbatical aiming to take my learning to the next level.
