Experience: I Began studying the violin at the age of two, having been inspired by Anne-Sophie Mutters playing. I studied with Victoria Miché in Somerset, and subsequently enrolled at Chetham`s School of Music at the age of eight. During my time at Chetham`s studied variously with David Vernon, Maya Rasooly, Marije Ploemacher, Kristoff Dolatko, Yumi Sasaki and Michael Gurevich. I am now in my final year of a BMus(hons) degree at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, with scholarship, currently studying with Krysia Osostowicz. I performed regularly in concerts such as the internal Chethams Lunchtime concerts as well as external Lunchtime concerts, masterclasses at Chethams, and at various festivals. I have also performed in the Chethams Symphony Orchestra including concerts of Shostakovich Symphony No. 5 at Cadogan Hall and Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 6 at Milton Court, Barbican, along with the Guildhall Chamber music orchestra playing the Film music of Debbie Wiseman and the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra performing Elgars The Music Makers, in Barbican. I have been playing in chamber groups since the age of eight when I started Chethams. In these groups we performed in concerts at least three times a year and took part in many masterclasses such as with Simone Fontanelli. In 2012 I studied chamber music with and performed alongside James Boyd and Charles Seward at MusicWorks. In recent months I performed the complete Dvoraks Terzetto and parts of Chaminade Piano Trio No.1 Op.11. At Guildhall I have received chamber coaching from Jaqueline Ross, Caroline Palmer and members of the Heath Quartet. I also enjoy solo playing. In 2015 I was offered a place, with Scholarship, to study Classical Violin at the Aaron Copland School of Music, New York. Since April 2016 I have been teaching beginner violin, and in the next upcoming months I shall be performing with the Orion Orchestra in Cadogan Hall and Royal Festival Hall and with the Arch Sinfona.
