Information about Aysha
I am a qualified doctor, having graduated with First-Class Honours in Medicine, following a First-Class Integrated Master`s degree in Biomedical Science. My academic journey has given me a deep understanding of both the scientific foundations and clinical applications of healthcare, knowledge I now bring into every tutoring session.
With over a decade of tutoring experience since 2014, I have supported students across a wide range of subjects, particularly A-level Chemistry and Biology, and GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics). Many of my students have gone on to secure places at top Russell Group universities, including Cambridge, to study highly competitive courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, and Psychology.
I pride myself on being approachable, patient, and committed. I tailor my teaching to suit each students unique learning style and goals, ensuring they gain not only strong academic results but also the confidence and skills to become independent learners.
Availability: I am available weekends between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have been tutoring A-level Chemistry and Biology, as well as GCSE Chemistry, Biology, and Physics since 2014. However, my passion for teaching began long before that as a youth leader with St. John Ambulance, I delivered first-aid classes to children aged 10 to 17. While still a student at Greenhead College, I mentored AS and A-level students, supporting them both academically and pastorally.
Over the years, Ive worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities, and goals many of whom have gone on to study at top Russell Group universities, including Cambridge. These experiences have reinforced a key lesson: no two students learn the same way.
Some students struggle to understand core concepts, while others find it difficult to apply their knowledge in exam settings and often, it`s a combination of both. My role is to help each student identify exactly where they need support, and to teach in a way that suits their individual learning style.
Most importantly, I aim to build each students confidence and independence. I dont just want students to achieve top grades I want them to become resilient, self-directed learners who can take ownership of their progress.
