I am a qualified and experienced teacher with a real passion for languages, specialising in Spanish and French. Over the past six years, I have taught in two independent boarding schools, where I have also served as Head of Spanish.

My students consistently achieve excellent results, with many going on to study at Oxbridge and other top universities. Having learnt both languages as an English speaker, I understand the challenges that come with language learning and use that insight to create engaging, supportive, and highly effective lessons.

I have taught French and Spanish up to A-Level, helping students to exceed their predicted grades and develop a lasting love for both the languages and their cultures. My approach is energetic, innovative, and tailored to each learner, ensuring that every student feels motivated, confident, and inspired to achieve their best.

Experience: I am a former qualified teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish and French from KS3 to A-Level. I have taught in two leading independent boarding schools, where I gained extensive experience preparing students for GCSE, iGCSE, and A-Level examinations.

After six successful years in classroom teaching, I now focus on tutoring, which allows me to offer individualised, flexible, and engaging lessons. Having recently moved from full-time teaching, I remain fully up to date with the latest teaching methods and curriculum developments.

In addition to teaching, I have also worked with a language app, translating Spanish and moderating content. My international experience includes living and working in both France and Spain, and I hold a BA (Hons) in French and Spanish from the University of Nottingham.
