Information about Alexander

I am a professional tutor with several years experience and freelance filmmaker. I love teaching and approach tutoring by first getting a sense of what a student`s approach to their work is like. I like to initially come to a good understanding of my students before building confidence and tailoring lessons to their likes.

I have previously tutored students that have successfully entered schools such as Westminster, Latymer, Kew House, and Haberdashers.

I have a strong academic background, with a 1st from Oxford in Philosophy and Russian. I also have 11A*s at GCSE and 2A*s and 2As at A level in Russian, Maths & Further Maths, and English. My Russian A-level mark was the highest in the country. I also won an honorary scholarship to Westminster School.

Availability: I am currently available for tuition on Wednesdays other than 5pm-6.30pm when I tutor in Chelsea.

I am always available for sessions via Skype online and will generally make time for intensive or longer term residential placements.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I love teaching, and have been tutoring for 5 years since I finished school. Please see above for a more detailed summary of how my tuition experience breaks down:
