Are you an adult learner picking up the piano again after a gap of years? Or perhaps you’ve been inspired to try the piano for the first time.

I have a lot of experience guiding adults of all ages through the various stages, frustrations and joys of playing the piano. I believe that the way we make music is directly linked to the books we read, paintings we look at, films we watch and general way of looking at the world. All this is taken into account in my lessons and linked together so that learning music becomes part of your life.

I’m an international concert pianist specialising in chamber music and currently hold teaching posts at the Royal Academy of Music and St Paul’s School.
