Hi, my name is Shahanaz and I`m a passionate and enthusiastic teacher in Sociology, Citizenship, RE and Health and social care, I have a BA in Sociology and Social science as my PGCE specialism.

I am a tutor who will give you well rounded understanding about the subject content and essay writing skills. Not only will I be able to help you understand the specifications and marking schemes of the AQA exam boards, but I can also provide you with past papers and A* model answers. I also provide personalised materials for each lesson based upon each individual`s strengths and weaknesses within the subject.

I have experience in marking for the current AS & A Level qualifications and as an AQA examiner I know exactly what examiners are looking for! Therefore, I can provide detailed and useful essay planning techniques which will ultimately boost grades.

All tutoring sessions are goal oriented to allow clear progress to be shown, with an emphasis on best results, in a friendly but challenging environment. Finally, I will help to build confidence and exam technique skills within the challenging topics and calm nerves surrounding the scary 20/30 mark essays!
