Information about Iram
Hi, I’m Iram & I’m a recently qualified primary school teacher. (5-11years)
For me, teaching is all about engaging children into a learning process that results in growth mindsets. I believe children need to be able to express themselves and enjoy themselves in order to fully understand and appreciate education as a whole. Completing my degree in Primary Education has meant that I have had amazing opportunities that involved working alongside skilful and experienced teachers/mentors. From this I have taken a range of teaching strategies that can be used to motivate and boost confidence in children of different abilities.
Having specialised in ‘Inclusion’, I have had opportunities to work with children with SEN as well as mixed abilities and my experiences have involved delivering full units in both core and foundation subjects, as well as creating mid term plans. I have taught children in Y6 in preparation for their SATs, down to children in KS1 preparing for their phonics screening tests.
I love learning about the children; how they interact and socialise, as this becomes a focal point of how I will adapt my teaching to children’s needs.
Teaching isn’t my job, its my passion!
