I am a fully qualified Maths teacher and have been working in West London Schools for more than 14 years. I have completed my Masters in Education and have a background in Economics, my first degree. My lessons have been graded as outstanding by Ofsted inspectors and seniority in my workplace. I am a lead practitioner in my profession and have trained fellow teachers.

Year on year I prepare A-level and GCSE students for their external exams. I have consistently achieved positive residuals for my examination classes, with over 70% of my students meeting targets and above.

Holding a position as KS3/KS4 Coordinator in a maths department in Chiswick, I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge on the new specification of GCSE and A-level. I regularly keep updated with the changes and attend training days to keep me in the loop on any latest developments. Working currently as a senior teacher allows me access to a wide selection of teaching material. I use these resources often in my tutoring sessions and have proven to be effective.

I create a positive supportive environment for my tutees to build their confidence and can effectively diagnose areas of weakness. This is often done through tests I have marked for my tutee and my understanding of common misconceptions that occur on certain topics. I have achieved an excellent success rate for those who I tutor and my previous students have made 2 or more grades of improvement over a 3 month period.

I have successfully launched my own youtube channel with over 10,000 views. My online video tutorials have proven a successful tool for my students to learn outside of the classroom and are personalised to their learning goals.

With over 10 years of experience, I have taught over a wide range of abilities from KS2 to KS5. I have an excellent track record of helping students to secure their subject knowledge and build their confidence to achieve their aspirational grades.
