I am a Mum to 3 grown up children and do voluntary work with children of secondary age through my involvement in scouting. I like to cook, garden (in the spring and summer!), knit & crochet and love musical theatre.
Availability: Evenings and weekends by arrangement

Experience: I am a fully qualified Maths Teacher with a wealth of experience tutoring for Maths at GCSE and A level Core.
I have tutored many times before 1:1 and have only recently retired from full-time teaching. I was a Head of Maths for many years and am conversant with the specifications of both IGCSE and the new GCSE specification. I have been an exam marker for several years for both IGCSE and A level Maths (Pure and International Core). Sue has been tutoring my year 11 daughter for GCSE maths, higher paper. My daughter has struggled with confidence in maths as well as exam anxiety. Sue has been encouraging and supportive and has built Holly`s confidence up. Sue has given Holly a lot of exam question practice, which has helped Holly recognise the different types of questions that might come up. She has also given Holly strategies to calm her nerves in the exams. Thank you Sue!
