I am a native German speaker who has been living in England for 25 years.
I am a Primary and Secondary Teacher with a specialism in Languages and Bilingualism.
I love languages and believe that learning a language is immensely empowering.
I am very organized and make my language teaching relevant and enjoyable for the learner also by conveying the culture of the country.
Whatever your reason for learning German or French, I am happy to discuss your aims and advise you on the best strategy and, of course, teach you!

Availability: Daytime, evenings.

Experience: I am a very experienced language teacher/tutor. I have taught French from Nursery up to GCSE and German from Nursery up to A-level at public and private schools. I have also taught adults learners ( in private and business settings) and conversation classes. Apart from teaching, I have a business background having worked for BMW and various hotels abroad.

I have in depth knowledge and experience of the new GCSE and A-level curriculum/exams for German and the GCSE for French (from 2017 onwards).

I am also a qualified English as a Foreign Language Teacher. This qualification is an additional tool to anticipate the problems English learners might encounter learning German and French.
