Recent History graduate from Royal Holloway University and current masters student offering online online tuition in History and English. I can teach English from KS3 - GCSE (both language and literature) and History from KS3 to undergraduate level. My teaching method varies greatly depending on the student. Every student has a specific learning style, so I find this out first. Once discovered, I can tailor my teaching to their learning style to ensure that they can retain information and understand complex concepts quickly. In history, these two skills are vital in order to obtain high grades. In English, my main focus is to ensure that GCSE students understand the assessment criteria and are able to use their knowledge correctly in an exam or essay to obtain the best marks. Lessons are structured depending on the areas in which the students weaknesses lie. One thing I pride myself on is that I provide excellent revision materials, which are included in my hourly price.

Experience: I recently graduated from university with an Upper-Second Class Honours degree in History and I am currently completing my MA in History. I am incredibly passionate about my subject, and love teaching it to others. During my undergraduate degree, I tutored a number of GCSE and A-Level students. Now I’ve graduated, I feel qualified to also tutor first-year undergraduates and second-year undergraduates in History and related humanities subjects (e.g. modern history, social history, history and politics etc)
