I am enthusiastic about STEM subjects and careers (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Having studied chemical engineering and now working at Mars chocolate, i have an appreciation for how Maths is translated and used in the real world and the practicalities of converting school qualifications into exciting careers.

My approach to learning is to simplify, by breaking a big subject down into manageable chunks and then to identify the gaps and focus the learning there.

I achieved an A* in GCSE Mathematics, 4 As at A level (including Mathematics) and a 1st class honors in Engineering. Demonstrating that i am able able to apply the theory to successfully passing examinations.

Availability: Varied

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: Although i appreciate that i have little experience at this stage in Tutoring (reflected by the price).

I mentor A level students at a local school and meet with them bi-weekly to go through any challenges or help them with their career choices. I also line manage 2 apprentices through their studies and professional development as well as mentoring graduates who enter into the company.
