I`ve been tutoring maths and physics for several years, with very positive reviews here on Tutorhunt. I believe in teaching the skills required to succeed in maths and science, rather than simply learning how to pass exams. These skills are what will differentiate you in tomorrow`s job market. I`ll teach you how to learn, not to be afraid of difficult subjects, and the discipline required to tackle them. As a by-product, you`ll also CRUSH the final exams!

I have a PhD and a first class undergraduate degree in Physics. I am employed by Pearson as an official marker of the Edexel Physics GCSE, so I am very familiar with the curriculum, and with the preparation necessary to pass the exams.

I have three small children of my own, live in Worthing and work as a geophysicist.

Availability: Evenings, weekends, and online.

Experience: I have a strong belief in the importance of science and technology education to the younger generation. I run an organisation in West Sussex which holds events and workshops teaching coding, electronics and robotics to school-age children [contact detail removed]. I`m an official STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) ambassador within the government`s STEM network, and regularly participate in voluntary STEM events in Sussex.
