My name is Natalia and I am a 3rd year veterinary student at the University of Liverpool.

I offer online tuition for GCSE and A-level Biology, covering curriculum content, revision materials, and exam tips and techniques.

I went to a highly selective grammar school in London, where I took Biology, Chemistry and Maths for my A-level subjects, and achieved 3As. In my GSCEs I obtained all grade 9s including in Biology and Chemistry.

While I am new to Tutorhunt, I have been mentoring GSCE & A-level students from my former school for the past 4 years as a way to remain involved and give back to the school community.

Experience: Having gone through my own A-level experience and getting into my first choice of university course, I fully understand the pressures of preparing for exams and hoping to achieve the best grades. Making a solid revision plan is key to understanding and learning the content, keeping motivated and feeling in control throughout.

My teaching style is tailored to the student and I am keen that they understand the topics and make progress in each session. I am very good at explaining concepts and persevere until the student feels fully confident. I use a variety of tools during and after each session to make the material interesting and to check progress and understanding. I strongly believe in involving the student in problem solving and in using their prior knowledge to arrive at an answer together so that we make sure any gaps in understanding are fully addressed.

I am very familiar with the AQA mark scheme and in my approach I include past questions from an early revision stage to make sure the answers are fine tuned to the requirements. I also like to use questions from different exam boards as this is helpful for developing critical thinking and making sure there are no surprises on exam day.
