Hi my name is Fatema and I am a FY1 doctor working in the local area. I teach Maths, Chemistry and Biology to A level standard. I can also help with Medical personal statements, entrance exams and interviews.
In year 8, I sat my Maths GCSE and achieved an A* and in Year 9 I sat my A level maths and achieved an A* as well.
In Chemistry, I secured an A* at GCSE and an A at Alevels and in Biology an A at GCSE and an A* at Alevels.
I am an extremely hard working and motivated individual. I am very patient, especially when it comes to teaching and I will adapt my way to teaching to suit each individual.
As I decided to sit my Maths exams early, I self-taught myself the syllabus. This took a lot of dedication and perseverance on my part.
I am a very vibrant individual who loves teaching and helping others understand and attain the grade they desire.

Experience: I started tutoring during 6th form where I worked with a variety of students, mainly in Year 9 and 10, helping them with school homework and classwork. I became someone the younger students could come up to and ask for help if they could not fully understand their subject. I also took up the role of Maths student teacher, working during lunchtimes in the Maths surgery. This allowed students to come and ask for help with maths work they did not understand.
I have also spent a lot of my time working with students with disabilities, in particular, autism. Working with them has helped me work on my patience and has taught me how to adapt my teaching method to suit the student, which I find very important.
Personally, I found exam time to be very stressful and it only became easier when I found an effective studying method that suited me. So when it comes to teaching, I make sure I find the right studying technique and organisational method that is best suited for my student to help them achieve the best grades possible.
During my 6th form years, I worked with an autistic charity working with children of varying levels of autism, tutoring them in different subjects and helping them with their homework. This experience helped me refine my communication skills working with children with learning disabilities.
