I am a graduate from Durham University with a 2:1 (Hons) in MPhys Physics, with ~6 years of experience in tutoring Maths, Science and MFL at KS3/GCSE. Having just concluded my undergraduate studies in July, I am looking for students for GCSE Maths or Physics. I achieved A*A*A*A* in A-Level Physics, Maths, Spanish and Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), and further attained Grade 8 in Piano from Trinity College London (TCL). I am originally from Estonia, having lived and studied in the UK for ~14 years, and am fluent in Russian and English, with advanced knowledge of Spanish (B2). At university, my final-year research focused on Quantum Computing, attaining a first-class mark overall. Additionally, I participated in the CERN Summer Student Programme 2024, where I completed a three-month project under the supervision of the LHCb Collaboration. I developed an in-depth understanding of programming in C++/Python, and had the opportunity to deliver a presentation detailing my work, which was nominated for the Summer Student Prize 2024. As a tutor, I strive for a balanced and methodical approach, with an emphasis on developing confidence, intuition and understanding. I aim to tailor my lessons to the needs and preferences of my student, so requests and suggestions are always welcome!

Availability: As my schedule is currently very flexible, I am able to schedule lessons in the morning, afternoon or evening on Monday–Friday. Subjects offered for GCSE (Years 9–11): Maths, Physics.

* Introducing beginners to music theory, playing technique and sight-reading.

* Delivering personalised, in-person or online, lessons designed to help students develop a deeper understanding of course material and prepare for assessments.
* Subjects include Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English (+ ESL) and Spanish.
