Hello! I am a qualified Secondary English teacher with over 10 years` tutoring experience and 4 years of classroom experience.

I have a BA in English Literature (University of Leicester), an MA in Classics and Ancient History (University of Bristol) and I obtained my PGCE qualification from King`s College London. I am also a qualified ESL teacher and have taught in several British Council accredited language centres.

Literature was conceived to entertain as well as inform, and this is also my ethos in my teaching approach. I am firmly convinced that academic success is not just about reaching the end goal; rather, it is the natural consequence of a genuine engagement with the subject. Given this, I aim to guide students through collaborative discussions, treating them as equals, so that their interest in and commitment to studying may arise spontaneously.

Nothing brings me greater satisfaction than enabling students` access to texts, witnessing their confidence grow, and empowering them to reach their fullest potential.

Availability: weekends, weekday afternoons/evenings

Willing to travel: 8 miles
