Experience: I became interested in teaching after realising how much I benefited from excellent and passionate teachers and most importantly, my father was a Deputy Headmaster in a secondary school. They exuded a great sense of enthusiasm for learning which inspires me to pass on that passion.
My intense love for Religious Education, Tajweed ul Quran and Arabic Language developed during my eight years living and studying in the Holy City at the University of Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This foundation drove me to study my Post Graduate Diploma in Education, hence, becoming a fully qualified teacher.
Studying my PGCE at the University has indeed developed my passion further for teaching RE and English - Arabic Grammar. This experience taught me a wide range of academic skills, which I believe are fundamentally important to teach students of all age. This subject area made me realised that my students will enhance their ability and facilitate a greater understanding of society and their place in our diverse and changing world.
During my years of formal teaching in schools, I greatly improved my teaching methodology and achieved great competence and strong foundations in imparting knowledge to pupils of all age, including adults. I have mastered my leadership capabilities and rose up the ranks to becoming Head of Depart for Islamic Education and Head of Parents Teachers Association, in addition to my role as a Scholar of a Central Mosque with thousands of attendees.
In my teaching career, I learnt the importance of differentiating lesson plans to adapt to suit the needs of all students including those with special needs and under achievers, likewise varying methods to stimulate and create competitiveness in learners. During my eighteen years of determined support in this profession I helped my students achieved their aims, goals and full potentials.
I have also entered the legal profession at Advice Centres and Law firms in order to support my professional development and understand the liabilities and safe guarding issues relating to students safety and secure learning environment. Further to this, I am currently studying LLB Law at the University of Bolton with an aim to graduating as a Barrister.
My sound Islamic education fused with my eagerness to become a professional Barrister, will definitely help me to educate my students and guide them along the path to high achievements and a successful career. I do look forward to teaching you and hope I will be the perfect match to inspire you and help you become the person of your dreams.
