I have been tutoring Maths and Science for the past 7 years and I have been a Maths teacher in High School for the past 15 tears. I presently work as a Maths at Hawkley Hall High School, Wigan as well as Choice Teachers Agency, covering a large number of high schools.

In addition to this, my tutoring has evolved into remote 1-2-1 tutoring, where I use technology to tutor without the need for physical meetings. This very effective teaching strategy was inspired by a number of months teaching my high school classes once the schools closed due to COVID-19.

Tutoring is a most valuable form of teaching, as it gives invaluable personalised learning and the individual attention students need to build their understanding and confidence. This individual attention is very difficult to get in the classroom. I use the advances in technology to allow students to work with complete flexibility - where and when they want to work and working at their own pace, while at the same time receiving the help and encouragement they need.

Work is set, with help, hints, answers and feedback given and work is marked and assessed, determining the next work to be set.

Work is generally either practice questions for a particular topic or exam questions
There is a complete database of questions for every topic for the Primary, KS3 and GCSE curriculums as well as all the GCSE past paper questions.
