Information about Sara
Maths, science and other technical disciplines can often seem scary or intimidating. I firmly believe that creative, tailored support at the right time can demystify even the most complex topics. This can unlock the ability for students to experience the joys of the sciences for the rest of their lives.
I am a committed tutor who takes a holistic approach, focusing on developing life-long study and exam skills as well as confidence in subject topics. I have experience in one-on-one private tuition in GCSE maths, physics and chemistry and am currently a bank maths lecturer at City College Liverpool teaching foundation GCSE maths and Functional Skills Level 1 and 2. I enjoy teaching children, young people and adults and easily adapt my teaching style to all, using a wide range of online and classroom-based resources.
As a proud geek with both an MPhys in Theoretical Physics and an MSc in Economics, I take great pleasure complementing formal syllabuses with `in the field` knowledge from my successful career in academia and the third sector. My aim is always to inspire and support students at all levels to fulfill their potential.
