Experienced Geography teacher with 19 years experience of teaching A-Level, GCSE and KS3 Geography. I am a former Head of Geography in Outstanding schools in Leeds and a top selective school school in North Yorkshire - obtaining excellent results including high percentage of A.A, and 8/9`s at GCSE. In addition I have 10 years GCSE examiner experience for AQA exam board. Kind, caring and compassionate, I believe that working 1:1 with students can help build their confidence and allow them to thrive.

I am an enthusiastic and passionate Geographer and I hope to inspire students whilst at the same time having a clear focus on exam technique. Sessions will be well planned and bespoke, tailored specifically to the needs of the students. Homework will be set if required and marked, and feedback given on how to improve. Particular strengths include stretch and challenge for the most able, as well as an excellent understanding of children with SEN.

I am offer 1:1 tutoring either weekly, fortnightly, or ad-hoc sessions, as well as intensive revision sessions in school holidays, and support for NEAs at A-Level.

Availability: Monday and Wednesday evenings, Thursday day times, Saturday and Sunday mornings
