Hello! I am an undergraduate at New College Oxford reading Classics. I am willing to tutor in Latin or Classical Greek from beginner to A-Level. I would also be prepared to give university admissions help, particularly Oxbridge application advice. As a tutor, I am keen to help people make progress, achieve their goals, and, above all, discover a love for their subject. I believe that my tutorials are fun, engaging, and academically stretching. I am more than happy to tailor my teaching approach to the specific needs of tutees. For example, I can give Oxbridge-style tutorials, mock interviews, or standard teaching classes. Whatever your needs, I will endeavour to help!

Experience: I received the top academic scholarship from Abingdon school and was highly praised for my performance in Latin and Greek. I achieved nine 9s and 2 A*s at GCSE and 5 A*s at A-Level (in Latin, Greek, French, Maths, and Further Maths). I was awarded the Mercer`s prize for academic achievement, along with the top Greek and French prizes, on exit. I came runner-up in the Gladstone Memorial Essay Prize (run by the Omnibus magazine) and was commended in the Mary Renault Essay Prize (run by St Hugh`s College Oxford). Having performed strongly in the Classical Admissions Test, I was awarded a place at New College Oxford to read Classics. I am currently in my third year and have achieved a first in my second year exams (placing 3/105). For this performance, I was awarded an academic scholarship and the Harold Lister Sunderland prize. I have given university admissions advice to numerous students both over zoom and in person. I am currently tutoring students who are preparing for 13+ scholarship exams.
