Selvaratnam

Selvaratnam is a highly qualified professional computer scientist who enjoys learning and teaching all age groups. He is highly motivated and will thoroughly research specific topics and prepare exercises and materials beforehand; he is detail-focussed and understands the process of learning.
Selvaratnam completed his PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Surrey, and M.Sc. in Foundation of Advanced Information Technology at Imperial College London. His BSc was in Mathematics and Computer Science at King’s College London.

Experience: Selvaratnam worked as a visiting lecturer at the University of Surrey, and at the University of Westminster, he taught Computer Science to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He also worked as a tutor at Surrey College, and Croydon Tutorial Centre teaching KS1 to KS3, GCSE, A/Level students in Mathematics, Physics, and ICT.
Even though he works as a Senior Software Engineer, he enjoys teaching different age groups. His approach is to teach theory, and then to provide practice questions to master theory. He also employs the use of past papers.
