I am a practicing and qualified solicitor specialising in Family Law, Children Law, Prison Law and Criminal Law. I am head of the Family Department.
I conduct advocacy within the magistrates court and family court dealing with all aspects of general criminal law work as well as divorce and children cases. I represent prisoners during internal prison disciplinary hearings and before the Parole Board.
Availability: I am generally available most evenings and weekends and I am happy to complete tutoring remotely over video as well as attend in person (covid-19 permitting).
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: Alongside practicing, I am interested in legal and academic research having obtained an LLM in law. I am currently developing a proposal for PhD doctoral research in law.
I am involved in training at my firm and I have experience of guest lecturing at university.
I am happy and able to teach law and legal skills from GCSE level through to GDL/LPC.
