I am a passionate and dedicated secondary school English teacher. I currently work at a Grammar school for boys, rated outstanding by Ofsted. I have worked with many students who have gone on to achieve A* (CURRENT LEVEL 9) in the subject.

Throughout my five year teaching career I have taught in the UK as well as students in Japan, Thailand and Spain in classes as well as one-on-one.

I tailor lessons to address specific needs in both language and literature skills. I am able to differentiate to the needs of a student whether it`s core reading and writing skills or exam based preparation.

I think it`s vital to build up a rapport with students to create a learning atmosphere that is fun but productive. I find I can get on with all students of all ages where a relationship is built on mutual respect.

My hobbies include reading (of course!) and I love to travel, watch films and practice yoga.


I hаve been а practicing tutоr since 2012, working with students from age five through to adulthood and have taught students with complex learning needs including autism and dyslexia.


My experience includes:

Teaching language and literature to secondary students, at KS3 and KS4 levels.

Private tutoring English Language to Thai students applying to University.

Teaching young adults English at Toyo University in Tokyo.

Working with primary learners at a private school in Chang Mai, Thailand.

Working with adults in Spain to pass their English language exams.

Availability: Weekdays, after 6pm.
