I’m the Director of a tutoring company specialising in English tuition in Hertfordshire, Middlesex and South Bucks. I have attained an undergraduate and masters degree. I am presently undertaking my PhD and also work part time for a publishing company as a writer and consultant editor.

I`ve been tutoring for 13 years in and around the Northwood, Pinner and Watford areas. My main expertise rests in the 11+, 13+ and GCSE English Language and Literature, covering all boards including IGCSE.

I travel to students homes directly for convenience of parents.

I primarily focus on 1-2-1 with student but also run workshops for literature, books and poetry.

I work on a needs basis approach, assessing children`s learning styles and patterns, followed by designing specific learning plans that target areas for address. This system allows for a spherical approach that targets not only areas of challenge but also elevates students to their maximum efficiency.

I am able to offer tuition in my home but equally find that parents prefer me to travel for their convenience. Equally I offer Skype and online sessions at a discounter price.

I have numerous resources including past papers for school entry exams going back almost 20 years. Equally I have access to numerous resources and past papers for GCSE English Language and Literature.

I believe that English is a vital skill is progressing through the education system and day to day work life. It is an integral part of good comprehension and writing skills, presentation, delivery, work reports and communication. All skills required to function at the forefront of professionalism and consequently cross over a plethora of other subjects also.

My goal is to inspire confidence in children in a subject I myself love dearly. My hope is their the students to achieve focus, success, creativity and most importantly the grades that they will require to progress onto higher education.

Availability: Week day afternoons and weekends.
Summer and holiday timetables vary.
