Hi there! I`m a passionate and experienced English GCSE teacher, dedicated to helping students achieve their best. With over ten years` teaching experience and as an GCSE examiner, I have an in-depth understanding of what it takes to succeed in the exam. This insight allows me to focus on the key areas that will help students not only improve their skills but also perform at their best on the day of the test. I believe in making learning enjoyable, ensuring that students develop both their skills and a genuine appreciation for English.

My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. As anGCSE examiner, I have a deep insight into exam expectations and marking criteria, which I use to tailor my lessons and provide students with the best strategies for success. Experience: I specialise in GCSE English Language and Literature, having taught both the Edexcel and AQA specification. I have over ten years of teaching experience as a Secondary School English teacher, private tutor and AQA English Examiner.

I also have experience of helping to prepare pupils for their SATS and/or the 11 Plus.
