Experience: I have a degree in Computing and Information Systems and I am currently teaching computer science at GCSE and A-Level. I have been teaching computer science for the last ten years and I have been an examiner for several exam boards for at least eight years. I have a good understanding of how students learn, the difficulties they encounter with exam questions, problem-solving as well as revision.

In terms of results, as a teacher, I have on average achieved between 65 - 75% which is above the national average for AQA and this includes many students with a target of 2 / 3 and some students with English as a second language.

In terms of tutoring, I have, over the years tracked some of the data and listed below:

100% 9-4 (A* - C)

90% 9 - 5 (A* - C+)

50% 9 - 7 (A* - A)

So far I have had 15 students achieve a 9 which is a very tough grade to achieve in computer science. 20+ students achieve a grade 8. 40+ students achieving a grade 7.
