I am a graduate from DMU with a degree with a first class in Mathematics and I have 1-year experience tutoring GCSE and A Level maths
I have achieved A Levels in Maths, Further Maths and an A in GCSE Maths.
I am looking to help student understand GCSE and A level Mathematics so that they are ready and well prepared for their exams.
From my experience as a tutor, I have noticed that many students struggle on certain topics and methods when it comes to maths. By going through example questions and examples along with letting them explain what they understand from the question is an efficient way for them to show what they have understood and how they learn.
My aim whilst tutoring is to keep it simple so that the student doesn’t get confused when trying to understand how to do a certain question or topic, patience is key and taking your time so that methods get understood easily and they achieve the best they can when it comes to their Exams.
To make sure the students understand the work I set them homework after every session to see how they have understood with what topic was taught in that given session.
During My seconds year at university in my 2nd term I worked with a secondary school this helped me to improve my scheduling and time management skills as I had to do projects and modules alongside helping the teacher out and gaining experience in the teaching sector.
