My name is Phil and I am a Maths tutor currently teaching GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths at Nottingham College. I have been teaching for 4 and a half years. I am fine with guardians of the child wanting to meet beforehand or be there while I am tutoring. I would suggest an interview based meeting which could include me helping the student with a topic they need help with as I feel this is the best way to see whether they feel the student would benefit being tutored by me. Obviously it is what best suits the guardians and child to see if they are happy with my approach.
Likely availability would be evenings from 5pm till 8pm or anytime at the weekends.
My students describe me as friendly, patient and they like that I can explain topics a number of different ways.
