I am a professional philosopher who specialises in tutoring Philosophy and Religious A level. I have 9 years experience teaching these subjects.

I have an MPhil and PhD in Philosophy (from King`s College London) and a BD in Theology (from the University of London, external programme). I have lectured in Philosophy at three major British Universities and have published papers in academic journals (Religious Studies, The British Journal for the History of Philosophy, The History of Philosophy Quarterly). I still actively research in Philosophy.

With my background in Philosophy and Theology, I am able to provide expert tuition to students of all levels. I have extensive experience of guiding students through difficult topics and helping them to become more confident in their studies. In particular, essay writing technique is a key skill that students of all levels find difficult to master. I help students translate what they have learnt about a topic into written form.

Availability: I am available on weekdays, and sometimes I can reserve a time at weekends.

For students who are beyond my travel range, I do offer online tutoring (Skype). This is at reduced rates (£30 per hour).

Experience: I have taught Philosophy at Degree level since 2005. I have lectured in Philosophy at the University of Birmingham, the University of Reading, and King`s College London. From 2005 to 2009 I tutored students at King`s College, mainly one-to-one. From 2011 to 2014 I was a Research Fellow in Philosophy.

Since 2009 I have worked with some of the leading tuition agencies in London, offering Philosophy and Religious Studies (OCR, Edexcel, AQA).
