Every child needs a cheerleader, a teacher who understands them and champions their achievements. I believe that every learner can access mathematics with the right attitude and mindset. I want pupils to enjoy learning mathematics, so they can see the beauty and intricacy of the subject and achieve success that is palpable. I enjoy being a guide through problem-solving questions, discussing concepts, addressing maths anxiety and exploring connections so pupils can see the relevance of what’s being studied. I have taught secondary school mathematics for over 15 years, with experience in both state and independent schools, both locally and internationally. I have also tutored for over 3 years, tailoring each session to the needs of each student, building their confidence and helping to foster self-belief and independence.

Experience: I have 18 years classroom experience, teaching both in UK state/grammar/private schools as well as international schools, abroad. I am a fully qualified Maths teacher, currently employed at a SEN provision in Kent. I combine face-to-face tutoring as well as online tutoring, so that every pupil can achieve success in Mathematics, irrespective of location.
