I am a junior doctor currently in my second year of medicine, working at UCLH in London. I graduated with a MBChB doctorate in July 2017 from the University of Manchester, after having studied and worked at Royal Preston Hospital for a number of years. I also spent a year studying Sports and Exercise Science at Loughborough University between 2015/16, and graduated in July 2016 with a BSC (Hons) degree.

I am a hard-working and motivated individual who always aims to do his best. I have always enjoyed teaching others and helping them to achieve their goals, and it is this passion which first inspired me to take up tutoring.

Availability: I am available most weekdays between 18:00 and 20:00, and also available some weekends (to be organised on an individual basis)

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: In college I spent two weeks in India working with and providing support to primary school children. We also visited three orphanages, one of which was in the slums of Mumbai, and helped the cares with their daily routines.

I also have experience working with young adults in a residential setting. In both 2015 and 2016 I spent a month of my summer holiday mentoring a group of twelve 15-17 year olds as part of the government run scheme NCS. This involved ensuring their safety in a wide variety of tasks including rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing and gorge walking, as well as promoting personal growth and the development of key skills such as public speaking, cooking, teamwork and communication and even charity work.

I have now been providing private tuition to students for over 5 years, during which time I have taught a total of 15 different A-level and GCSE students.
