My name is Cameron , and I am a professional keyboard player specialising in contemporary styles including Jazz, Rock, Blues, Funk and Soul, as well as music theory and production. I started playing the piano aged 8 and have been passionate about music ever since.

After working through the ABRSM Classical and Jazz grades, I studied Music and Music Tech A-levels at college. I was tutored by highly regarded industry professionals such as Brian Henry (Soul II Soul, Mica Paris) and Frank Tontoh (Amy Winehouse, George Michael) at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where I achieved a 2:1 in Professional Music Performance (BMus).

I have over ten years of experience providing piano lessons to people of all ages and abilities, in person, in schools and online. Companies I`ve worked for include Open2Music and Private Music Lessons UK.

I produce many of my own documents to aid learning, and use methodical but fun teaching methods. One guide I`ve written is entitled `Essential Music Theory`, and features information about scales, chords, progressions, melodic features, improvisation and ear training. With a diverse knowledge of subjects such as music culture/history and technology, I aim to give students a broad overview of all things music related.

**Microsoft Office suite, Sibelius, Logic Pro, Photoshop and IT:**

I have a wealth of experience using a variety of different software and have great confidence when it comes to navigating (and troubleshooting) Windows and Mac operating systems. I am keen to help people stay organised, fix problems, and get the most out of their computers.
