As a graduate in Spanish and Portuguese (Leeds University with distinction in spoken Spanish) I am also a fully qualified secondary school teacher and experienced language Tutor & ICF Language Coach I am I have lived, worked and studied abroad in France (University of the Sorbonne & OECD, Paris), Brazil (University of Pernambuco), Portugal (Coimbra University), Spain (University of Granada). I have worked too in the children`s voluntary sector and have a strong commitment to safeguarding.

As a qualified Language Coach, sessions are based on a diagnostic assessment & learner goals & motivations. My approach to tutoring/coaching is to tailor individual sessions to the identified needs of learners. It will depend on the age of the student (adult, child or young person), their areas of interest, priorities and preferred methods of learning. I use a wealth of resources in my lesson planning and delivery, including hard copy and online tools and ensure that I remain up to date on teaching pedagogy.

Availability: I work during the day and evenings, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Experience: I am a fully qualified Teacher of Spanish with French completing a PGCE (Secondary Education) at Goldsmiths College, University of London & worked as a secondary school teacher in Greater London. I have taught as a Lecturer in Further and Higher Education including the then Falmouth College of Arts and Camborne School of Mines (Cornwall) as well as at the University of the Sorbonne in Paris, France. I have been tutoring children (11+), young people (GCSE & A`level) and adults for the last 5+years. Recent experience includes tutoring busy working professionals & the retired for work & leisure purposes as well as GCSE & A`Level students. This includes equipping individuals with the skills set to live, work & holiday abroad.
