I really enjoy my job, and regard tutoring as a positive and rewarding experience .
I believe learning should be fun, and my starting point is always where the tutee is with their learning, wherever that may be,unlocking new levels of understanding.
I like to set homework and this can be discussed as to how much in quantity this should be, and what is appropriate.
Availability: I can tutor in the week and on Saturday

Experience: I am a very experienced tutor.
Much of my work is for the 11 plus but not all.I tutor children from Year 2 up to Year 7.
I tutor in English, Maths,and Verbal Reasoning
In the 2023 11 plus exams , both for grammar and independent schools , I have had a good deal of success in helping children to pass.

Rosalind was friendly, helpful and great at communicating the learning. She was patient when something needed to be explained again and very encouraging.

My child found Ros`s lessons engaging. She provided structured feedback at the end of each lesson. She also set good level of homework to work through between lessons. Would definitely recommend Ros.

Ros has been fantastic with my sons confidence in maths - only after a few weeks his school teachers have commented on his progression and understanding
