Hi there, thank you for checking out my profile. I teach maths and English to children from Year 1 up to Year 8, as well as verbal reasoning in Years 4 and 5. Though I very much enjoy teaching children of all ages, at any given time at least half of my students will be focused on passing their Key Stage 2 or 11+ exams, so successfully preparing them for those is very much my specialty. Beyond exam preparation, I put a big emphasis on creative writing, as I believe this is one of the best avenues for improving a student`s English skills overall.

Availability: Monday to Friday: 4pm to 8pm.
Saturday and Sunday: 11am to 5pm.

Experience: I have been tutoring full time, 7 days a week since February 2013. Yep, longer than most. In that time I have mentored well over 300 students, 1-on-1 at their homes - some for as little as a few months, some for as long as 5 years. It`s those long term appointments that really make this a great job. There`s nothing like being with children on their journey as they grow up, becoming more academically able and confident by the year. By the time they get too smart for me to impart any more knowledge to, I`ll know I`ve set them on a path to academic excellence way past my lessons with them.
