I am a junior doctor. I am patient and outgoing and would like to help other students get a better understanding of the subject I’m most passionate about, biology. I am friendly and reliable, with a flexible approach to tutoring, being available both week nights and weekends.

Availability: Evenings and weekends. Flexible times.

Experience: As a private tutor of 9 years I have taught many students through GCSE, A-level and degree level biology courses and on average have helped students achieve above and beyond their expected grades.
I am very familiar with the course content required. Furthermore, I have been teaching the new A-level syllabus for the last 18 months and am familiar with the new course structure and content.
I have a background in medical science with a PhD in cardiac physiolgy. I am currently studying for a medical degree and so am more than familiar with how students learn and succeed.
At University I have assisted/supervised several students ranging in age from sixth form to postgraduate, whilst working in our laboratory.
I was involved in the science outreach programme at the University of Manchester, in which I ran demonstrations and activities at a number of public science festivals.
During sixth form I was a mentor/tutor for several lower school students.
