Hello there - I’m a primary maths specialist with 20 years of classroom experience. On top of that, I have a masters level qualification in primary maths teaching from sheffield Hallam university and led maths in school for my whole career. I left the classroom in April and now work from home using my passion and expertise to help children improve their maths skills, working on fluency and understanding that will help them grow in confidence and achieve their best.

Availability: I have some availability for new students evenings and some weekends. Either at my home or yours. Parents are encouraged to stay, although this isn’t essential.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: I have been a teacher for 20 years, and maths co-ordinator for all of that time. I have an additional masters level qualification as a Maths Specialist Teacher at primary level. I have regular training and achieve great success with children at KS2 in reading and writing (including SpaG) as well as maths. I have tutored one-to-one in school often over the years, and having left the classroom in April, tutoring is a new venture for me.
