Information about Oliver

I am a veterinary medicine student studying at the Royal Veterinary College. Passing exams is not a fun or easy task for anybody; my journey into university was challenging. As a young person, I can easily relate to tutees. Few young people are able to see the effort:gain ratio of education in their favour when it comes to studying, and I know from experience that youngsters tend to apply themselves more when they have the benefits explained to them rather than being told they HAVE to do something. Inspired by my own teachers and tutors, I would like to persuade students to affix themselves with their education as to not narrow potential future career options (intelligence can be acquired not just inherited). My academic experience has made it apparent to me that different students have different learning styles, and it is important to encourage students to discover their own optimum learning style. Lessons will obviously be tailored to the student`s exam board, but will also be geared towards helping them develop their individual studying routines.
