Information about Callum
I’m Callum, I recently completed a Mathematical Science degree from University of Bath. I have 5 years of tutoring experience, taking on many students ranging from primary school level right up to a student preparing for her masters degree.
The lessons I deliver are structured and complete with all necessary resources. I try to engage with my students to see in what they are taking in and see what I need to do different in each case.
I have received very good feedback from my students who enjoyed these tutoring sessions, all of them coming away with significant improvement. Take a look at some for yourself on my page.
I achieved a First-class with Honours in a Mathematics degree at University of Bath, following the completion of A Level`s, with grades of A* Mathematics, A Further Mathematics, A Physics. I was also successful at GCSE level including A* Maths, A* English and 3 A*’s in Sciences (equivalent of a Grade 9 in new GCSE grading system). I believe as I have recently completed these qualifications I can offer help with how best to revise and best methods I used when learning it for the first time.

Callum has consistently delivered the tutoring sessions to a an exceptionally high standard. He works on the development of topics, ensuring the fundamentals are understood to allow for successful progression onto tackling the harder questions. He is able to confidently identify areas for improvement and provides a number of different approaches to ensure the content and theory is fully understood. Callum takes a very patient approach and listens to absolutely everything that is said. All of his lessons are very well prepared, and prepared in advance, meaning his undivided attention is given to you at any time. His communication is great and he has proven to be a very receptive individual.
He`s a very polite and accommodating tutor and since my sessions began, I have become a lot more confident in all of the topics that we have covered. I wouldn`t hesitate to recommend him to anyone - the sessions are invaluable.
