Information about Ayesha
I am a fully qualified Cardiovascular Scientist who has been tutoring for a number of years. I have a degree in Biochemistry (BSc Hons 2.1) and a PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine from Imperial College London. I also have a postgraduate certificate in Biomedical and Healthcare Education.
I have a structured way of tutoring providing relevant material, past papers and tools for practicals.
My role is to teach, encourage and reach a level of understanding and confidence in the taught subject. I strive to ensure that each student achieves the best grades they can, which reflects the hard work and time we have both put into our lessons. Everyone has different learning styles and abilities and this is taken in to consideration. Due to this, my preference is to only offer one to one tuition.
I believe it is important to work as a team when undertaking these tutorials, and this will allow my students to achieve the best they can. I take pride in helping my students to achieve their full potential along with working with parents/guardians to provide them with regular updates on their child`s progress. Carefully designed tests will also be provided to assess the level of improvement.
I have a relaxed, yet structured approach to my tutorials, thus providing a solid foundation and understanding of the subject areas. This provides the necessary skills for my students to succeed in their exams.
I support all key stage levels up to and including GCSE Science and Maths, and A-level Biology and Chemistry and Higher Science Education.
