Information about Liz
I did not always find Maths easy, and had to work hard at it both at school, and beyond. Trust me, I get it when someone thinks they `just can`t do Maths`.....but I am living proof that with perseverance and the right support, you can get to where you want to go with your Maths.
Whether you are working towards Entry Level or Functional Skills to prepare you for the world of work, or you need that `magical` 4/5 to progress to college/6th form, or you just want to get the best grade you possibly can, I can support you to get there. Everyone can do Maths, if they are taught it in a way that makes sense to them!

Experience: I am a qualified secondary Maths teacher and have spent the past six years teaching GCSE Maths, along with Entry Level and Functional Skills Maths in a secondary school.
I have worked with both mainstream and SEN classes, and am comfortable supporting students with a range of needs. I am also a qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
I specialise in Foundation GCSE Maths, with a particular skill set in supporting students around the Grade 3/4/5 borderline. I am, however, happy to help students studying towards any Maths qualification.
