Information about Anthony

A qualified secondary music teacher, I really enjoy teaching and put the student at the heart of my work. Starting out by finding out what skills you`d like to develop, we`d set targets and set about making sustained progress to achieve them.

Availability: I`m flexible and have a variety of times available during the day, evenings and weekends, depending on your location.

Experience: A retired head of department, I spent an exciting 18 years teaching music in maintained and independent schools. During this time, I have prepared students for GCSE Music, A Level Music and ABRSM Theory, Piano, Singing and Organ exams. It has been a privilege to work with so many students during my career. For the past 13 years I have examined and moderated A Level Music Performing and Composing exams and have a good understanding of how to succeed in the subject. I am a performer and composer myself and am always delighted to discover new ways of learning and share them with you.
