I am local to St Andrews and was educated at Madras College (1985) and then at University of St Andrews (BSc with Honours, 1989). After a career elsewhere, I am now training to become a secondary teacher and am currently on placement at a school in Fife. I am a PVG Scheme member.

Availability: Some availability on weeknight evenings and at weekends, with flexible times to suit teenagers` busy lives. Rates from £30/hour, plus travel costs if outside St Andrews.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I am now in my tenth year doing tuition in the St Andrews (Madras College catchment) area. I concentrate on the core subjects of Maths and Chemistry, but I can also offer more general support with a variety of other SQA subjects including other Sciences, Computing Science, and Geography. I worked initially with children of friends and colleagues, then taking on new pupils as former pupils moved away to university.
