I have been a university lecturer in Mathematics for more than 25 years. I have worked for 6 years at the Department of Mathematics, University of Leicester; five years at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and also at the University of Sofia.

Availability: By appointment; mainly after 11 am and befor 7 pm.

Experience: I have worked in a broad range of educational systems - USA, UK, Bulgaria. I have been tutoring students for Mathematics Olympiads, high school students, university students - all levels: from introductory to advance. I can teach also how to apply Maths in various environments and my native language - Bulgarian. I have bilingual knowledge in English and Russian. I can teach Maths and Stats in all three languages - Bulgaria, English and Russian. I can tutor project writing skills and supervise project writing.
I am patient and can guarantee progress only if the students put their own effort in studying. That is essential. This follows the proverb: "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". So, I aim to teach my tutees not only the subject but how to learn on their own and what learning skills are generally required for learning that can be applied to other subjects as well. I love my tutees to make progress and try to make Maths interesting and fun.
